James Enrique Wilson, 94 of Laurel, MS passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at his residence in Laurel, MS. He was born Sunday, September 15, 1929, in Bay Springs, Mississippi.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. 601-649-3342.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alpha Stephens Wilson; father, Eddie Wilson; mother, Janie Brown Wilson; brothers, Charles Wilson and Kenny Wilson; sister, Patricia Stephens.

Survivors include his sons, Jimmy Wilson (Jill Butler) and Johnny Wilson (Becky); daughters, Judy Jenkins and Janie Johnson; 12 Grandchildren; brother, George Wayne Wilson (Margaret); and a host of great and great-great grandchildren.
