James Benton Windham, 92 , of Laurel, MS passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023 at the Cedars Personal Care in Soso, MS. He was born Sunday, July 13, 1930 in Jones County, Mississippi.

J .B . was employed by Sanderson Farms as a feed mill Superintendent until his retirem en t in 1993.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery in Laurel, Mississippi. A graveside visitation will take place at 1:30 PM at Springhill Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. 601-649-3342

He was preceded in death by his son, Jimmie Windham; parents, Kearney and Viola Ga iney W indham ; brothers, W. T. and Herman Windham; sisters, Clara Smith, Betty Brooks and Lois Holifield.

Survivors include his daughters, Margaret Rogers and Susan Dykes; son, Steven Windham; grandchild r en D ylan, Ree, Ryan, Katie and Corey; great grandchild ren , Lexi, Luc, Dawsan, Devan, Eyan, Gage, Mylan and Mayse; great- great grandchildren , John and James; sisters, Dot Tindall and Ann Trijillo.

Pallbearers will be Friends and Family.
