Janie Katherine Street, 67, of Stringer, MS, died Sunday, December 14, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, MS. Rev. Tony Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. She was a member of the Baptist faith and a member of First Baptist Church of Moss. She enjoyed going to church, working in her yard and spending time with her family. Her hobbies included reading, sitting on her front porch enjoying nature and watching HGTV. Mrs. Street is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Benjamin F. Williams and Millie A. Ratcliff of Stringer, MS; paternal grandparents, Joey and Clarinda Hosey of Stringer, MS; mother, Minnie May Ulmer of Stringer, MS; father, Buck Hosey of Stringer, MS and husband, Robert E. Street of Stringer, MS. Survivors include her daughters, Amanda Street, Stringer, MS, Sandee Street (Clarence), Thibodaux, LA, Evelyn Wilson, Houston, TX and extended family which she also considered a daughter, Rhonda Williams and family, Gulfport, MS; grandson, Jacob Hodge; granddaughters, Brittny and Brianna Entrekin; siblings, Lisa Lively (Robbie), Stringer, MS, Richard Ulmer (Debbie), Sharon, MS, Clarinda Landry, Stringer, MS and Melissa Shows, Stringer, MS; brother-in-law, Buster Ratcliff; her beloved dog, Sadie Grace and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jason Lively, Robbie Dreading, Westly Kelley, Gary Williams, Dale Williamsand Matthew Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of her nephews, Jacob Hodge, Chaz Williams and Buster Ratcliff.
