Jessica Lynn Morgan tragically passed from this life on June 2, 2026, at the age of 45. She was the beloved daughter of Charles “Smokey” Wilson and Patricia Ann Brady, the wife of Joshua Morgan, and the loving mother of Tristan, Hannah, and Emma Grace. One of her greatest joys in life was being “Honey” to her precious granddaughter, Delilah, lovingly known as “Shug.”

Jessica was truly one of the kindest souls you could ever meet. She lived her life with a heart for God and a heart for others. Whether she was encouraging someone, teaching a Bible study, sharing her faith, praying with someone in need, or giving whatever she had to help another, Jessica’s love and compassion were evident to all who knew her. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and a truly anointed prayer warrior.

Her journey through life was filled with both mountaintops and valleys, but no matter the season she found herself in, Jessica continued to give God all the glory. Her unwavering faith and love for others were a beautiful testimony of God’s grace and mercy. Her life was truly a testament to God’s faithfulness to His children.

Jessica’s legacy will live on through her family, her faith, and the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but the seeds of kindness, faith, and love she planted will continue to grow for generations to come.

Visitation will be held on Friday June 5, 2026, from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, Mississippi. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00PM. Burial will be at Moss Memory Gardens in Laurel, MS. Pastor Mark Brady and Pastor Heath Ellingburg will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. She is survived by her parents Charles Edward Wilson Sr and Patricia Ann Brady; Children, Tristan Simmons, Hannah Reagan (Dylan) and Emma Grace Morgan; granddaughter, Delilah Reagan; brother, Charles “Charlie” Edward Wilson Jr.; sister Victoria Rountree (Nathanael); nieces and nephews Paige Tisdale (Michael), Hunter, Bryston, Madi’Klaire, and Zoe’Ana Wilson, Gabriel, Esther Kate, Eden, Eliana, Elise, and Emersyn Rountree.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; Cecil and Jeanette Valentine, her paternal grandparents; Lily Jean and RC Brady, Uncles; Dewayne Valentine and Marty Brady
