Jimmy Clinton Pearson, 52, of Laurel, Mississippi, died Saturday, February 15, 2020 at his residence in Laurel, Mississippi. He was born Wednesday, July 5, 1967 in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel, with burial to follow in Myrick Cemetery in Laurel, MS. Bro. Jimmy was a true family man who loved his family wholeheartedly. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved listening to and playing music on a daily basis, and he could always be found singing or humming. Jimmy's kindness was very contagious, and he always left a smile wherever he went.

He was preceded in death by his father, Pete Pearson; grandchildren, Angel Odom and Riley Steele; 5- Siblings; step-father, Bill Brock; aunt; Willie Jean Andrews.

Survivors include his wife, Sara (Beth) Wicker Pearson; children, Katherine Steele (John), Emily Wilkinson (Mark), Shawn Brock, and Stephen Wicker (Camash); mother, Arlene Brock; grandchildren, Elizabeth Steele, Christopher Steele (Nicole), Johnathan Steele, Elaina Wilkinson, and Adaya Wicker.

Pallbearers will be Larry Busby, Daniel Tucker, Darren Chisholm, Tony Braddock, Thomas Holifield, and Jeff Hicks.

Honorary pallbearers will be D.R. Byrd.
