Jimmy L. Sherman, 73, of Stringer, Mississippi, died Thursday, September 30, 2021, in Stringer, Mississippi. He was born Monday, December 22, 1947 in Taylorsville, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Taylorsville, MS. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Clear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with burial to follow. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles L. and Hazel Delphene Sherman, sister, Ruby Nell Witt.

Survivors include his daughters, Shelly Breed, Terry Hegwood, Dora Wade, son, Jimmy Holliman (Kristy), and a host of grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, brothers, Bobby Sherman (Sue) and Billy Sherman (Vera) and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Holliman, Charles Hegwood, Devin Brunet, Gage Abercrombie, Bobby Lee Sherman and Garth Sherman.

Honorary pallbearers will be Colton Hegwood and Justin Holliman.
