Joe W. Harris, 90, of Laurel, Mississippi, died Wednesday, March 7th, 2018 at his residences in Laurel, Mississippi. He was born Monday, September 26, 1927 to Thomas Harris and Suzanne Harris in Bay Springs, Mississippi. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel in Laurel, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel and the Burial will follow in Union Line Cemetery. Bro. Alan McCord will officiate. He worked at Howard Industries for a number years until his retirement. He enjoyed bass fishing and being outdoors. He love his family, friends and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years Tiney Harris; parents, Thomas Harris and Suzanne Harris; son, Donald Harris; brothers, John Matt Harris, Jim Harris, Franklin Harris Spencer Harris and Hodge Harris; one sister, Arsenie Williams. Survivors include his two sons, Robert Harris and Danny Harris; one brother, Ance Harris (Dean); one sister, Mary Jenkins. And a Host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
