Joel Richmond Hinton, 68, of Laurel, Mississippi, died Thursday, March 28th, 2019 at Rush Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi. He was born Sunday, October 8, 1950 in Laurel, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, March 31, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel and the Burial will follow in Errata Church Cemetery. Bro. Kenny McMinn will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. (601) 649-3342
He was preceded in death by Joel Quitman Hinton (Father), Mary Frances Hinton (Mother), Stevie Thomas (Brother-in-law).
Survivors include Wanda Lynne Hinton (Wife), Farrah Hinton (Daughter), Tyler Hodge (Grandson), Jacob Rogers (Grandson), Hadleigh Hodge (Great-granddaughter), James Truman Hinton (Kerrie) (Brother), Patricia Nowell (Terry) (Sister), Claudia McCurley (Parker) (Sister-in-law).
Pallbearers will be Terry Nowell, Tyler Hodge, Jacob Rogers, Clay Patterson, Hunter Hammonds, and Walter 'Buzz' Jack.
