Joey Lee Williams, 44, of Stringer, Mississippi, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Born on February 7, 1981, in Laurel, Mississippi, Joey was a beloved husband, father, son, and brother.

He is survived by his loving wife, Melissa Harper Williams, and his children: sons Colby Brogdon, Joseph Williams, Nathan Williams, Ryder Williams, and Gunner Williams, and daughter Braylee Brogdon. Joey is also survived by his parents, Ronnie and Rose Creel Williams, his brothers Fred Williams (Summer), Jeffery Williams (Kayla), David Boyd (Brandi), and David Haycraft (Amanda), and his sisters Anna Kelley (Rob) and Candy Conliff. He leaves behind his cherished grandsons, E'liyas Williams and Romeo Williams.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel, located at 4593 Indian Springs Rd, Laurel, MS. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at the same location, with Bro. Mickey Kelley officiating. Joey will be laid to rest at Liberty Baptist Cemetery in Stringer, Mississippi. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel.

Joey will be remembered for his dedication to his family and the love he shared with those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
