John Hall Jefcoat, 70, of Soso, Mississippi, died Sunday, June 30th, 2019 in Soso, Mississippi. He was born Tuesday, July 20, 1948 in Laurel, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Big Creek Cemetery and the Burial will follow in Big Creek Cemetery. Bro. Wayne Rice will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. (601) 649-3342
John was a member of Berean Baptist Church. He was a heavy equipment operator and lived in Andrews, TX for many years. He served in the US Army. He won National Defense Service Medal; Sharpshooter (Rifle M-14)
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ledones Jefcoat and Jewel Jefcoat, brothers; Paul Ladelle Jefcoat, Donnie T. Jefcoat.
Survivors include his brothers, Mondell Jefcoat (Pearle Grace), Jerry Allen Jefcoat (Flora), Len Jefcoat (Gelene), William Danny' Jefcoat (Mary).
Pallbearers will be Brandon Hayes, Blake Gordon, Darrin Jefcoat, Kevin Gregg, Brady Gordon, and Kaleb Jefcoat.
