John E. Knotts, 78 of Stringer, MS passed away Friday, June 23, 2023, at the Jasper General Nursing Home in Bay Springs, Mississippi. He was born Saturday, November 11, 1944, in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at Liberty Baptist Church in Stringer, MS. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 2:00PM at Liberty Baptist Church in Stringer, MS. Burial will follow in Good Hope Cemetery in Stringer, MS. Bro. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Roll Knotts; father, Wilbur Knotts; mother, Elva Lee Kilgore Allen; sisters, Jackie Norris and Cheryl Brando.

Survivors include his daughters, Patricia Collins (Jackie) and Sandra Anderson (Ray) grandchildren, Joseph Collins (Ashley), Jessica Rogers (Cody), John Michael Collins (Destiny), Steven Anderson and Jakob Anderson; great grandchildren, Hailey Jones, Destiny Bush, Wilhelm Rogers, Waylon Rogers, Adelynn Collins, Camdyn Cook and Carlee Dudley.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Collins, John Michael Collins, Steven Anderson, Jakob Anderson, Cody Rogers, and Ricky Sharp.
