Judith Faye Parker, aged 68, of Laurel, MS, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, April 28, 2025. Born on December 2, 1956, in Mobile, Alabama, Judith was a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by her daughters, Cassie Higginbotham and her husband Andrew, and Christina Welch and her husband Adam. Judith was a proud grandmother to Alexis Boutwell and her husband Billy, McKenna Parker, Myles Gray, Madison Gray, and Mason Welch. She is also survived by her sisters, Sharon Sharp and her husband Herschel, Linda Mills and her husband Mark, and Janet Kittrell and her husband David. Judith also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin Williams and Elizabeth Cooley Williams.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, located at 1743 Hwy 29 North, Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM at the same location, with Bro. Roy Crouch officiating. Burial will take place in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellisville, MS. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Sharp, Jackson Sharp, Mike Parker, Myles Gray, Billy Boutwell, and Atley Sims. Honorary pallbearers will be Mason Welch, Reagen Sims, Riley Sims, Cooper Sims, and Kimber Sims.

Judith will be dearly missed by her family and friends, who will cherish her memory forever. Judith loved her Lord deeply. Throughout her life, she fought tremendous battles and without her Lord and Savior none of this would have been possible. She lit up every room she walked into with her infectious laugh.
