June G. Hodge, 82, of Laurel, Mississippi, passed away Thursday February 17, 2022, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, Mississippi. She was born Saturday, August 12, 1939, in Laurel, Mississippi.

A Graveside Service will be held Sunday, February 20, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Rushton Cemetery with burial will follow in Rushton Cemetery. Bro. Jimmy Holder will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. (601) 649-3342.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hodge; parents, John and Nancy Guthrie; brothers, Dewey Guthrie, Sonny Guthrie, Orville Guthrie, Pelco Guthrie, and J.D. Guthrie; sisters, Naomi Smith, Myrtis Herrington.

Survivors include her daughters, Shelia Hodge, and Vanessa Hodge; grandchildren, Colby Stringfellow (Bailey), Keri Stringfellow, Matthew McCarty (Jessica), and Cameron Dement (Britney); 5- Great grandchildren; sister, Mervis Sumrall (Max) and a host of nieces and nephews.
