Obituary

Lanelle Rawls Reddoch passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior on June 20, 2026, at South Central Regional Medical Center. She was a faithful Christian, devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was marked by her love for God and her family.

Lanelle was born to Canton C. Rawls and Pauline Gandy Rawls, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of thirty-one years, Allen Burnis “A. B.” Reddoch, and her twin brother, Lavelle Rawls.

She leaves behind a legacy of faith and family through her three sons: Mark (Regina) Reddoch, Bill (Janice) Reddoch, and Rusty (Lor) Reddoch. She was a proud grandmother to Cody (Priscilla) Reddoch, Kimberly (Josh) Satcher, Kerrie (Randy) Sherrell, and Kristie Reddoch. Her cherished great-grandchildren are Andi Satcher, Lincoln Satcher, Titus Reddoch, Lydia Reddoch, Stephen Reddoch, Ellie Sherrell, and Leo Sherrell. She is also survived by her sisters, Pat Dickerson and Barbara Elmore, along with numerous extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

A lifelong woman of faith, Lanelle was a devoted member of Hebron Baptist Church. Her relationship with Christ shaped every aspect of her life and guided the example she set for her family. She was especially grateful that her children and grandchildren were serving the Lord and active in their churches. Her deepest desire was that all of her great-grandchildren would come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. It was also her heartfelt prayer that all people would come to know the Lord and experience His saving grace.

In her younger years, Lanelle enjoyed traveling and making memories with her husband, A. B. Together they shared many adventures, flying throughout the country in his Cessna airplane. In later years, she found great joy in spending time with friends, gathering for fellowship and friendly card games. Whether traveling, visiting with friends, or spending time with family, she treasured the relationships God had blessed her with.

Those who knew Lanelle will remember her gentle spirit, steadfast faith, and unwavering love for her family. Her influence will continue through the generations she loved so dearly.

A graveside service will be held at Hebron Cemetery on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.

Though her family grieves her passing, they rejoice in the assurance that she is now at home with her Savior, hearing the words, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”
