Kenny Yelverton, 57, of Taylorsville, Mississippi, died Monday June 25, 2018 in Collins, MS. He was born Saturday, June 24, 1961 in Laurel, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville. Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Fellowship Cemetery. Bro. John Finley will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 785-6564

Kenny was a lifelong resident of Taylorsville, MS. He graduated Taylorsville High School in 1979. For most of his working life, Kenny was a truck driver with several local industries. He began his most recent career with Sanderson Farms over 10 years ago as a driver before moving into his current role as a dispatcher. He loved people and never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his father, Olan Yelverton.

Survivors include his mother, Bobbie Sue Robinson Yelverton, Taylorsville, MS; siblings, Billy Yelverton (Brenda), Taylorsville, MS and Cindy Bray (Bill), Taylorsville, MS; niece, Meagan Woodard (Woody), Taylorsville, MS; nephews, Brandon Yelverton (Jami), Taylorsville, MS and Brody Bray, Taylorsville, MS; great-nephews, Jameson Woodard and Jackson Yelverton, Taylorsville, MS.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
