She was born Thursday, February 8, 1979 in Laurel, Mississippi. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel in Laurel, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel and the Burial will follow in Matthews Cemetery in Laurel, MS. Bro. She worked as a paramedic all over South MS for 21 years. Being a flight paramedic was what she loved the most. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Brinson and Pansy Smith and Billy and Hazel McNeill of Laurel and her father-in-law Tommy Brashier of Seminary, MS. Kresta is survived by Mickey Brashier (Husband), Jerry Smith (Father), Diane Smith (Mother), Cole Brashier (Son), Landyn Brashier (Son), Kenadi Brashier (Daughter), Holdyn Brashier (Son), Cynthia Brashier (Mother-in-law), Karen and Kevin Smith (Sister-in law), Shell and Venita Brashier (Brother-in-law), 2 sistercuz, Amy "Louie" Hinton (Jason) of Dallas, GA and April "AA" Johnson (Derrick) of Denham Springs, LA and a brothercuz, Jason and Laurie Sibley of Pine Grove , LA, another "mother" Essie and Pete Cooley and a special friend Melba Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
