LaJetawese Parker Holifield, 84, of Laurel, Mississippi, died Sunday, August 5th, 2018 at Magnolia Gardens Assisted Living in Ellisville, Mississippi. She was born Friday, November 17, 1933 in Laurel, Mississippi.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with interment to follow. Bro. Ken Riley will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 649-3342
LaJetawese was a lifelong member of Lebanon Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Holifield; parents, Dee Parker Sr. and Vernetta Holloman Parker and brother, Dee Parker Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Gay Rasberry (Danny), Laurel, MS and son, Gary Holifield (Lynda), Laurel, MS; grandchildren, Jim Rasberry (Malorie), Laurel, MS, Katie Holifield Freeman (Brent), Laurel, MS; great grandchildren, Lucy Rasberry, Lily Freeman and Rosie Freeman; sister-in-law, Geraldine Parker and a host of nieces and nephews.
The men and deacons of Lebanon Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers.
