"I will turn their mourning into joy. I will comfort them and exchange their sorrow for rejoicing."
Landon believed in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was a source of light and love for all that knew him. Landon's favorite bible verse was I Timothy 4:12. Landon lived by this verse. He believed that despite being young, you could make an impact on the world around you by displaying love, faith, and helping others in need.
Our beautiful cotton top, blue eyed country boy was born on August 28, 2000 weighing in at 8 lbs, 2 oz in Laurel, MS; to the mother of Amanda Rayner and father Alan Moyer.
Landon loved his family. He was a devoted son and brother. He always took the responsibly of being a big brother to his sister Emily seriously, even at a young age. Landon and Emily had a special sibling bond like no other.
Landon was inquisitive at a young age of how things worked and the world around him. He was often found getting into "messes" with his cousins especially his cousin "Buddy Buddy" Marshall Johnson.
Landon attended Raleigh High School. He was a member of Union Baptist Church, in Raleigh, MS, where he was very active in youth activities.
Landon was 16 when he moved to Pearland, TX to live with his Paw Paw Terry and Grammy Phyllis. He finished his high school years and received his diploma. He loved living in Texas and had numerous friends that became more like brothers. You could always find him with his cousin Colton and friends out in Paw Paw Terry's shop hanging out and grilling.
Landon was an entrepreneur of all trades. It didn't matter if you needed your lawn mower fixed, a new wind shield in your ride, or just a carpenter for the day, he was the man for the job. He loved to tinker on small engines and automobiles at his Paw Paw Terry's shop.
Landon was happy with the little things in life like his extensive collection of Scooby Doo movies or just a good deal on a 4-wheeler or old truck he planned to flip for a profit. His interest in old vehicles started at a young age with his step dad Pat. Pat always had tools missing because Landon "borrowed" them.
Landon found his purpose in life while witnessing to others and changing many lives with his infectious smile and kind heart.
