Larry Joe Jones, 72, of Taylorsville, Mississippi, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021, in Taylorsville, Mississippi. He was born Wednesday, June 1, 1949 in Laurel, Mississippi.

Larry Joe served in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Warren and Ethel Lee Jones; 3- sisters and 5-brothers.

Survivors include his son, Mitchell Jones; daughters, Billie Jo White (Tony), Sonya Jones; grandchildren, William Jones (Madison), and M'Kenzie Jones (J. D.); Brettiney Hamil, Casey Bush (Tyler), Brandon Hamil (Tami), Lane Hamil, Alicia Hardeman (Justin), Ryan White (Danielle); great grandchildren, Jonathan Jaxson Jones, and Ariel Jones; a host of nieces and nephews.
