Linda and Doug enjoyed traveling with their family and friends, especially to the Smoky Mountains. They also enjoyed spending time with their "Car Club" friends. Linda was a wonderful cook and her chicken dumplings and sweet potato casserole were always holiday treats. She loved her Glade Baptist church family and her Sunday school class. Also, she loved keeping up with "the girls" from high school.
She was a Christian lady who was devoted to her church, family, and friends. Linda delighted in spending time with family and friends. Linda was confined to a wheelchair for several years and had said that when I die, I want to be buried with my tennis shoes on because when I get to heaven I am going to run up and down the streets of gold. She will be greatly missed and we will treasure her memory.
The family would like to thank you all for your prayers and many acts of kindness. A very special thanks to Amanda Wilson and Brenda Del-Rio for there excellent care for Linda over the past several years so she could stay in her home.
