Lou Ella Gilbert Graham

Born August 29,1936

Lou Ella Graham, 90, of Laurel died peacefully at home Sunday, November 1, 2026. She was a mother of two sons, military spouse, world traveler, and the owner of Jones General Store, Moss and a member of First Baptist Church Moss.

She was preceded in death by her parents James Clifton Jones and Ruby Erwin Jones of Moss. Also, her first husband Kenneth Dale Gilbert and second husband Earnest Dale Graham; her brother Jimmy Jones (age 5) and sister Anna Jones (Robert Dale) Stringer.

She is survived by her sister, Carolyn J. (George) Ishee of Huntsville, AL; her sons James Dale (Mary) Gilbert of Laurel and Anthony Kenneth (Kathy) Gilbert of Bay Springs; her children Stacy (Mickey) Graham of Laurel and Blain (Carole) Graham of Pearl River, LA; grandchildren Corey Gilbert, Jerimie Gilbert, Bryce Gilbert and Bailey Gilbert (Cole) Brasher; her grandchildren Caleb Graham and Kara (Steven) Gavin all of Laurel and Tori, John Michael, and Jamye Graham all of Pearl River, LA; her great grandchildren Ella, Kailey, Braxton Gilbert and Briar Brasher; her great grandchildren Brenley Graham and Addison and Brooklyn Gavin.

She first married after high school and traveled the world as a military spouse for 20 years before returning to Moss in 1976. Upon returning to her hometown, she began to assist her father in the family General Store. Upon her father’s death in 1981, she became the owner of the business until retirement.

Pallbearers will be Stacy Graham, John Michael Graham, Bryce Gilbert, Jeremie Gilbert, Johnny Evans, and Eddie Pickering.

Honorary pallbearer will be Blain Graham.

Visitation is at First Baptist Church Moss, Thursday, November 5, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. Burial to follow in Moss Memory Garden. Brother Tony Johnson will officiate. Colonial Laurel is in charge of the arrangements.
