Mary Lucille Bridges, aged 89, of Carrollton, AL, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 7, 2025, at her home. Born on February 6, 1936, in Geneseo, Illinois, Mary lived a full and cherished life.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Talmadge L Bridges, her parents Lester and Helen Breese Boomer, her sons Michael Lee Bridges, Talmadge Laverne Bridges, Jr., and Delbert Leon Bridges, as well as seven brothers and sisters.

Mary is survived by her loving grandchildren: Kelly Baily (Brad), Michael Shade Bridges, Karli Snoddy (Luke), Jordin Bridges, Trentin Bridges, Dallas Lambert (Joseph), and Shawndel Pace (Justin Terry). She also leaves behind her brother Jim Boomer, sister Donna Jeffers, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Her special friends Rebekah Nethercett, GreenLee Nethercett, Rachel Hildreth, and daughter in love Peggy Mooney will also miss her dearly.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 2:30 PM at McGill Cemetery in Sandersville, MS, with burial to follow. Bro. Joe Watts will officiate the service. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel.

Pallbearers will be Luke Snoddy, Landon Lewis, Joseph Lambert, Justin Terry, and J.D. Jernigan.

Mary's family and friends will remember her for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with everyone around her.
