Mary L. Genesse, 73, of New Augusta, Mississippi, passed away Saturday, October 30 2021, at Perry County Nursing Center in Richton, Mississippi. She was born Tuesday, March 9, 1948 in Bay Springs, Mississippi.
A Graveside Service will be held Friday, November 5, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Bay Springs City Cemetery with burial to follow in Bay Springs City Cemetery.
Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. (601) 649-3342.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Genesse; parents, Ruben and Mandie Rayner; sisters, Dorothy Lee Genesse, and Ruby Lee Graham.
Survivors include her niece, Mary Phillips; children, Suzanne, Vickey, Edward and Bo; Grandchildren, Heather and Misty; sister, Maxine Cook; brothers, Charles Edward Rayner, and Charles Ruben Rayner and a host of other grandchildren, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be her family and friends.
