Mary Strickland Green 67, of the Sharon community passed away November 10, 2017. She was born May 27, 1950 in Jones County. She attended Shady Grove School and Northwest Jones (West Jones High School) where she was active in basketball and running track. Mary was an excellent cook and was known for her "Shrimp & Grits." She enjoyed camping and summer trips to Perdido Key. She also enjoyed hunting with her Husband. She was an active member of Ignite Church and was over the Triage Family group. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray Strickland and Martha Graham Langley, her brother, Billy Ray Strickland and her step father Marvin Langley. She is survived by her Husband of 50 years, Billy Green, her daughter Tisha Green Pitts (Curtis), son Jason Lee Green (Mandy), grandsons, Reese Green Pitts and Seth Lee Green, granddaughter, Brittany McKean, special granddaughter, Laiken Burroughs, sister in law, Ethel Strickland and niece Brandi Strickland Ellzey. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, November 26th at 2:00 at Ignite Church. Pastor Curtis Pitts will officiate.
