Mary Louise Padgett Davis, 76, of Taylorsville, Mississippi, went to her heavenly home on July 30, 2022.

She was born on February 28, 1946, in Waynesboro, Mississippi, to the late Clinton and Annie Taylor.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 9:30AM until 10:30AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel, MS. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 11:00AM at Sunset Gardens in Laurel, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Laurel, Mississippi. She was a beloved mother and homemaker. Mary loved to cook and made some of the best food around. But mostly loved spoiling and being with her grandchildren.

Mary Louise was preceded in death by her first husband Larry Kent Padgett and second husband Jerry Lee Davis; Clinton Taylor (Father), Annie Taylor (Mother), her sister's Annette and Barbara, and her brother's Sonny and Ralph.

Mary Louise survived by her children Cindy L Padgett Shafer, Allen K Padgett (Melinda), Stacy C Padgett Bray (Tim); Grandchildren Larry Shafer, Nikki Shafer, Jaycee Padgett Terry (Owen), Maggi Bray Harrison (Michael), and Austin Bray. Great Grandchildren Abby-Kate Harrison and Emery Terry.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Taylor, John Shafer, Darin Padgett, Owen Terry, and Austin Bray.

Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Shafer.
