Melba Faye Rogers, 57, of Waynesboro, Mississippi, died Wednesday, May 29th, 2019 at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was born Saturday, July 22, 1961 in Laurel, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel and the Burial will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Wayne County, MS. Bro. Jerry Rowley will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 649-3342.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Rogers; father, Marvin Sellers.
Survivors include her daughter, Amanda Ainsworth (Charles); sons, Derik Harris and Cody Johnson; grandchildren, Corbin Ainsworth, Erica Ballard (Jonathan), Tearsa Rogers, and Derik Rogers; great- grandchild, Luke Ballard; mother, Annabel Sellers; sisters, Beverly Sellers, Kaye Staggs (Steve), and DeAnna Pittman (OR); brothers, William Sellers, and Roy Sellers (Amy).
Pallbearers will be Craig Knight, Devin Knight, Brad Knight, Allen Rogers, Corbin Ainsworth, and Dalton Ainsworth.
