Michael Lamar Brewer, 74 of Soso, MS passed away Friday, April 21, 2023, at Care Center of Laurel in Laurel, MS. He was born Saturday, September 4, 1948, in San Diego, California.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at The Rock Church at 304 Pine Street, Taylorsville, MS. Pastor Mark Brady will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. 601-649-3342

Michael was a truck driver for 40 years. Everyone called him Bob White and Pops. He loved the Lord, playing harmonicas and loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his son, James Brewer; parents, Cecil Boyd and Arlouine Johnson Brewer; brother, Walley Brewer.

Survivors include his son, John Clements (Kyle); daughters, Malissa Durfee (James) and Lisa Henderson (Mark); grandchildren, Donavan Randall (Sarah), Michael Brewer (Baileigh), Tyler Clements, Baylee Clements, Ashlee Randall, Brian Brewer (Miranda), Skye Randall, Star Williams, Dakota Williams, Braxton Williams, Aryanna Brewer; brothers, David Brewer, Richard Brewer and William Brewer, and Garth Brewer; sister, Mary Brewer; and a host of Great-grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers will be Donavan Randall, Brian Brewer, Michael Brewer, Dakota Williams, and Braxton Williams and The Rock Church Family.
