Nina J. "Jerry" Pippen, 95, of Laurel, Mississippi, died Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Lynnwood Assisted Living in Laurel, Mississippi. She was born Friday, August 20, 1926 in Warren, Arkansas.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel and the Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens Cemetery. Dr. James Haynes and Bro. John Cockrell will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. (601) 649-3342

Jerry was a long-time member of Glade Baptist Church and she ministered by her singing in the church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. "Jip" Pippen, parents, Clarence E. and Bessie Pulley, siblings, C.E. Pulley, Jim Pulley, Joe Pulley, Carolyn Pulley, son-in-law, Rickey Herrington.

Survivors include her daughters, Cheryl Haynes (James), Shannon Herrington, grandchildren, Cherelle Martin (Will), Carissa Keckler, Danielle Eddy (Chris), Shaina West (Mason Turner), 10 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
