Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Taylorsville for Pamela S. Parker Powell, 59, of Taylorsville, who passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019 at the South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.

Reverend Ovie Cornell will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Clear Creek Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00p.m. at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Taylorsville.

Pallbearers will be family members and friends.

Mrs. Powell was born on Friday, October 30, 1959 in Detroit, Michigan. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Powell was employed by the Chevron Service Station in Taylorsville as a clerk. She was a member of the Faith Community Church in Soso.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Clovis Parker Sr. and Katie Elaine Ishee Parker, and her twins, Christian Daniel Powell and Ruby Danielle Powell.

Survivors include her husband, Timothy M. Powell Sr. of Taylorsville; three sons, Ray Reeves, and his wife Melanie of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Timothy Powell Jr. of Grandville, Michigan, and Michael Powell, and his wife, Madison of Raleigh; three grandchildren, Christopher Michael Reeves, Amery Layne Powell, and Jordan Brian Smith; two brothers, Michael Parker, and his wife, Debbie of Polson, Montana and George Parker Jr., and his wife, Donna of Hattiesburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
