Patricia Ann Pitts, 81, of Laurel, MS, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Jones County Rest Home in Ellisville, MS. Born on February 5, 1943, in Jones County, Mississippi, Patricia lived a life full of love and dedication to her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur "Art" Melvin Pitts; her father, Oscar Williams; her mother, Mildred Musgrove Williams; her brother, Oscar LaFlora Williams; and her sister, Maxine Myers.

Patricia is survived by her sons, Dr. Lane Pitts and his wife Kathleen, and Chad Pitts. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Dr. Lauren Pitts, Michael Pitts, and Sophie Pitts.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Edon Baptist Church Cemetery in Stringer, Mississippi, with burial to follow at the same location. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel.

Patricia will be remembered fondly by her family and friends, who will serve as pallbearers in her honor. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
