Patsy Bush Wright, 75, of Laurel, MS, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Forest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Born on April 27, 1950, in Laurel, Mississippi, Patsy lived a life full of love and family.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery in Laurel, Mississippi, with burial to follow. Bro. Johnny Bryant will officiate the service, and arrangements are being handled by Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel.

Patsy was preceded in death by her father, R.B. 'Billie' Bush; her mother, Lou Alice Ishee Bush; her sisters, Sandra Waldrup and Peggy Bush; brother, Thomas Bush, and her great grandson, Rowdy James Wright.

She is survived by her sons, Tony Wright (Melissa) of Laurel, MS, and Johnny Wright (Ashly) of Ovett, MS. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Jordan Smith (Austin), Weslee Wright (Paige), JT Wright (Hannah), and Lara Wright, as well as her great grandchildren, Dawson Smith, Everlee Kate Wright, Kingslee Wright, John Wright, and Lottie Wright; and special aunt, Alice Knotts.
