Ramonia Lois Walters, 67, passed away September 30, 2026, at the University Medical Center in New Orleans, LA She was born February 17, 1959.

She was dearly loved by her family and friends. She worked at Southside Curb for 19 years in Ellisville and Rapad Express in Laurel, MS. She was a faithful church member and secretary at Christway Baptist Church, loved her church family and her fur babies. Fishing was her passion.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Daniel Cranford and Alene; brothers,

Eddie Strickland, Jerry Strickland, Mike Strickland, Danny Strickland.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Curtis Walters; son, Jason L.

Strickland; sister, Doris Welborn and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Colton Bennett, Jessie Gainey, Dan Strickland, Russell Bennett, Jeremy Fant and John Hollingsworth.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at Christway Baptist Church in Laurel, MS from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will follow Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 11:00AM at the same location, with burial at Logan Hill Memorial Cemetery in Laurel, MS. Bro. Wayne Williams will officiate.

Arrangements are under the care of Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel, MS.
