Rhonda Marie Wade (Dennis), 50, of Ellisville, Mississippi, passed away on September 28, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved her beyond measure.

Rhonda was born on December 13, 1975, to Jimarie Dennis (Upshaw) and the late Frank Dennis. Throughout her life, Rhonda was known for her loving heart, her generosity, and the way she cared for the people around her. She was the kind of person who would help anyone in the world if she could. If she had something to give, she never thought of just one person—she made sure everyone was included.

Above all else, Rhonda loved her family.

She was a loving mother to Dorothy Alvarado and her husband, Diego; Cody Wade; Breanna Castanada; and Jannie Castanada. Her children were a tremendous part of her life, and the love she had for them was immeasurable.

One of Rhonda's greatest joys was being "Mima." She was the best Mima her grandchildren could have asked for. She loved Santiago, Yoselyn, Abbygail, Akiles Prieto, Yamilet, Omar, Alonso, Arlet Alvarado, and Dennis Wade with all her heart. The memories they made with their Mima will be something they can carry with them throughout their lives.

Rhonda also shared a special love with her beloved dog, Baby, who was truly part of the family.

She loved nature, spending time with her family, telling stories, and singing songs. Those who knew Rhonda will remember the stories she could tell, the songs she would sing, and the love and laughter she brought with her. These are the little things that will be missed the most and remembered forever.

Rhonda is survived by her mother, Jimarie Dennis (Upshaw); her sisters, Frankie Gonzalez and her husband, Rodrigo; Barbara Danielle Beasley and her husband, Darrell "Peanut"; and Tammy Jimenez; and her brother, Antonio Velasquez and his wife, Rosenda.

She also leaves behind a large and loving family, including many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her husband, Quinton Wade; her father, Frank Dennis; and her grandparents, George and Ollie Bell Upshaw, Frank Jessie Dennis, and Velma Smith.

Rhonda's life cannot be measured simply by the years she was here, but by the people she loved and the lives she touched. She had a heart that gave freely, a love for her family that knew no limits, and a way of making sure no one was forgotten or left out.

Her family will miss her stories. They will miss her songs. They will miss seeing her enjoy the beauty of nature. They will miss the way she loved and cared for everyone around her.

Most of all, they will simply miss her.

Rhonda was a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, an aunt, a friend, and an unforgettable Mima. Her love will continue through her children, grandchildren, and the many people fortunate enough to have been part of her life.

She was deeply loved, and she will be deeply missed. Her family will carry her memory, her stories, her songs, and her love with them always.

Visitation will be held on Thursday October 1, 2026, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will follow Friday October 2, 2026, at 11:00AM at the same location, with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ellisville, MS. Pastor Dan Atkinson will officiate. Arrangements are under the care of Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel, MS.
