Richard Wayne Craven, 59, of Laurel, MS passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024 in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born Sunday, April 4, 1965 in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel on 4593 Indian Springs Rd, Laurel, MS. Graveside services will follow at 11:00 AM in Sharon Cemetery. Bro. Ken Johnson will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. 601-649-3342

Richard loved anything to do with vehicles. He could fix anything and made his career as a great mechanic. Richard also loved the outdoors, especially going fishing. Richard was a proud dad to Peyton and Reagan and truly believed in putting his family first. Richard was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Alice Craven.

Survivors include his son, Peyton Craven (Katie Brady); daughter, Reagan Craven; sister, Donna Mason; and in-law's, Johnny and Rachel McNeer.

Pallbearers will be Coca-Cola Employees and Friends.
