Richard Jerry DuBose Sr., 82, of Mize, Mississippi, died Sunday June 10, 2018 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was born Saturday, March 14, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 10:00AM at Mize City Cemetery with interment to follow. Bro. Scott Flynt will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 785-6564
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Patricia "Pat" DuBose, parents, William Harold and Opal Freeman DuBose and brothers, William Harold DuBose Jr, and James Carol "Jimmy" DuBose.
Survivors include sons, Richard J. "Ricky" DuBose Jr., Mize, MS, Charles M. "Micky" DuBose (Kathy), Soso, MS and Doug DuBose, Taylorsville, MS; grandchildren, Kandy DuBose, Amanda DuBose, and Courtney DuBose Lewis; great-grandchildren, Kade DuBose, Ethan Lewis, and Taylor Lewis; siblings, Phyllis Jean Horn, Gulfport, MS, Jean Foy, Pascagoula, MS, Sheila Phillips, Theodore, AL, Johnny L. DuBose, Vancleave, MS, Kaye Williams, Vancleave, MS, Billy Glenn DuBose, Vancleave, MS.
Family and friends will be pallbearers.
