Richard Harris, 65, of Stringer, Mississippi, died Tuesday September 15, 2020, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was born Wednesday, October 13, 1954, in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2020, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 17, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Laurel with burial to follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Stringer, Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hodges and Mary Harris; brother, Ronnie Harris.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years Regina Harris; son, Lee Jones; grandchildren, Ashley Jones, Logan Prince, Christian Jones, Noah Jones, and Jeremiah Jones; his puppy, Roscoe: sisters, Patricia Williams, and Pamela Chaney. A host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Keith Blakeney, Pete Blakeney, Kendrick Blakeney, Kevin Blakeney, Billy Harris, and Brandon Harris.

Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Brooks, Mark Brooks, and Matthew Williams.
