Robert Douglas Campbell, 65 of Laurel, MS passed away Monday, October 14, 2024, at his residence in Laurel, MS. He was born Sunday, May 3, 1959, in Jones County, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024, from 10:00AM until 11:00AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel in 4593 Indian Springs Rd, Laurel, MS. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 11:00AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Bro. Danny Stringer will officiate. Robert really loved his family, especially his two great grandsons'. He was a hard worker and would have given you the shirt off his back. Robert will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Earl Campbell, Dorothy Jean Lawson; step-father, Earl Lawson.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Rhonda Stringer Campbell of Laurel, MS; son, Brandon Robert Campbell; daughter, Missy Gail Ainsworth; brothers, Mike Lawson and Steve Campbell; sisters, Debby Warren, Shellie Johnson, Pam Bowick and Saundra Blackwell; step-mother, Shirley Kolb; grandson, James Dustin Ainsworth; granddaughters, Harley Necole Ainsworth and Maeghen Rianne Ainsworth; great grandchildren, Taytum Randall Overstreet and Paxton Payne Walley.
