Robert Lloyd Sharp, 82, of Laurel, MS passed away Friday, October 27, 2023, at his residence in Laurel, MS. He was born Tuesday, October 7, 1941, in Louin, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home at 4593 Indian Springs Road, Laurel, MS. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at 11:00AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Sharon Cemetery. Bro. Pete Grund and Bro. Robert was an avid golfer. He won the club championship 18 times at Dixie Golf. He had 17 hole-in-ones. He aced all par 3's, had a deuce on all par 4 and 5's at Dixie, totaling a perfect score of 32. Robert was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all of his friends, family, and fellow golfers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Earl and Virginia Mae Evans Sharp; brother, Donavan Sharp; sisters, Mary White and Marie Allen.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Patsy White Sharp; son, Glenn Sharp (Debbie); daughter, Deborah Sharp; grandchildren, Lauren Spradley, Clay Sharp (Briana), Nicole Sharp, Carter Sharp and Nolan Sharp; brother, Dwight Sharp (Louise); great-grandchildren, Sophie Johnson and Liam Johnson; and soon to be born great grand-child, Margie Ruth Sharp as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Joe Berlin, Jerry Sharp, Robert White, David White, Gary White, Mark Allen, and Joe White.
