Roy Irvin Hutchinson, 73, of Laurel, Mississippi, passed away Friday, May 21, 2021 at his residence in Laurel, Mississippi. He was born Wednesday, July 16, 1947 in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel and the Burial will follow in Sharon Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Faye Hutchinson his parents, Harris and Jessie Hutchinson, his step-son, Danny Ishee and his step-son-in-law, Larry Hayes.

Survivors include his son, Scott Hutchinson (Amy), his daughter, Becky Melton-Reeves (Billy), his step-children, Kathy Glenn (Truman), Ritta Hayes, Bobby Ishee (Barbara), his grandsons, Jacob Dewayne Melton, Roby Taylor Hebert, Thomas Randal Hebert, Ethan Glenn, Christopher Ishee (Jennifer), Zachary Ishee, Lance Ishee (Maggie), Sara Spoon (Eric), his granddaughters, Jessica Tucker (Ronald), Erin Glenn, Mandy Reynolds, his brothers, Rod Hutchinson (Virginia) and Randy Hutchinson (Becky).

Pallbearers will be Scott Hutchinson, Roby Taylor Hebert, Thomas Randall Hebert, Ronald Gene Tucker, Jacob Melton and James "Peaches" Smith.
