Ruby Chandler Livingston died Saturday, December 23, 2017. Visitation will be held at Colonial Chapel of Laurel, Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 12:00-2:00 PM with funeral services at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Laurel, MS. Bro. Robbie Johnson will officiate. Mrs. Ruby was a retired nurse from SCRMC. She was a great nurse, having won Nurse of the Year several times. She was a member of Oakland Grove Baptist Church. Ruby was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Lynn Livingston; parents, Albert and Lela Chandler; and sister, Maxine Dunston. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Raymond Livingston; daughters, Marsha Diane DeReamer (Steve), Carolyn Dunston (Gary), and fur baby Charlie; three grandsons; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack (Kay), Rayborn (Virginia), Dennis(Margie), Dean, and Michael Chandler (Tammy); sisters, Shirley Moss Rush (John) and Linda Jackson. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Wesley Beech, Matthew Dunston, Jason Dunston, great-grandson, Hunter Beech, and nephews, W.J. Livingston and Brian Dunston. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice or the Rustin Volunteer Fire Department, 600 Pool Creek Rd, Laurel, MS 39443.
