Sandra Lynn Ainsworth, 73, of Laurel, MS, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, September 5, 2025. Born on August 22, 1952, in Jones County, Mississippi, Sandra was a beloved sister and friend.

She is survived by her sisters, Cathy Godwin and her husband Mike, Jean Matthews, and Ann Warren, as well as her sister-in-law's, Shirley Ainsworth and Mary Ann Ainsworth. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Cannie McKinley Ainsworth, her brothers, Curtis and Glenn Ainsworth, and her brother-in-law's, Dean Matthews and Harold Warren.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Sharon Cemetery in Laurel, Mississippi, with burial to follow. Bro. Jonathan Strickler will officiate the service. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel.
