Sandra Lynn King, 69, of Stringer, MS, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025, at the Guardian Angels in Laurel, MS. Born on September 1, 1955, in Laurel, Mississippi, Sandra was a beloved member of her community.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lawrence King; her father, Robert Trulsen; her mother, Mary Jo Holifield Trulsen-Daly; and her brother, Rusty Trulsen.

Sandra is survived by her son, Andrew Lawrence King and his wife Emily; her daughter, Amy King Hunt and her husband Ryan; her cherished grandchildren, Blair Hunt, Baker Hunt, Barrett Hunt, and Bryce Espinola; her sister, Angela Griffin; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 1:00PM until 3:00PM at Edon Baptist Church in Stringer, MS. Funeral services will follow at 3:00PM at the same location, with burial in Edon Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Charlie Fall will officiate the services. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel.

Pallbearers will be Ray Holifield, Dana Holifield, Andrew Poole, Eddie Pickering, and Carlton Dillard.

Honorary pallbearers will be Michael King, Billy King, and Jim McCallum.
