Sarah LeAnn Kent, 35, of Laurel, MS passed away Friday, May 10, 2024 in Laurel, Mississippi. She was born Tuesday, November 29, 1988 in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel on 4593 Indian Springs Road. The funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM. The burial will then take place in Salem Heights Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Brent Benson will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. 601-649-3342

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harold and Glenda Yates and Granville and Betty Davis; as well as a cousin, Jamie Yates.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Kent; sons, Todd Smith and Allen Smith; daughter, Ashley Smith; parents, Buddy and Teresa Davis; brothers, Roman Davis (Meagan) and Daniel Davis (Jacee); nephews, Justin Davis, Cannon Davis, Jase Davis and Braxton Davis; nieces, Macee Davis, Zoey Sherman, Robin Sherman and Alexandria Parker; aunt, Angie Mitchell (Tom); uncle, Terry Yates (Vicky) as well as a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Roman Davis, Cannon Davis, Samuel Mitchell, T.J. Yates, Justin Davis, and Marty Dearman.
