Shari Ann Jernigan, 82, of Laurel, MS passed away Monday, October 23, 2023 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. She was born Tuesday, April 15, 1941 in Jasper County, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel on 4593 Indian Springs Road, Laurel, MS. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM. The burial will then take place in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Laurel, Mississippi. Bro. Chris Freeman will officiate. She was preceded in death by her son, Ken Ishee; father, James Everette Jernigan; mother, Jewel Odessa Jernigan; brothers, Norman Womble, James Jernigan, Jr. and Sammy Womble; sisters, Nan Graham and Ruth Johnson.

Survivors include her sisters, Frankie Robertson, Patsy Hadaway; grandson, Tristen Sawyer Ishee; granddaughter, Brynden A Johnson; daughter-in-law, Angie Ishee; great-grandson, Weylon Windham.

Pallbearers will be Cory Kyzar, Jody Johnson, Darren Simmons, Jack D. West, Kaleb Swearengin, and Chan Swearengin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Parker, Barry Parker, Spencer Schneider, and Zane Gilpin.
