Shelley Ann Cox, 71 of Lucedale, MS passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at her residence in Lucedale, MS. She was born Thursday, October 2, 1952, in Medina, Ohio.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 12:00PM until 2:00PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel at 4593 Indian Springs Rd, Laurel, MS. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 2:00PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel in Laurel, MS. Burial will follow in Clear Creek Cemetery in Taylorsville, MS.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. 601-649-3342.

She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Walter Wallace; mother, Ida Mae Eaken Wallace; sister, Debbie Wallace, brother, Matthew Archer.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Jackie Cox; sons, Jackie Walter Cox, James Andrew Cox (Crystal), Robert Clyde Harris and Jason Russell Cox; daughter, Cynthia Michelle Havard (James); and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Russell Walter Wallace, Jr. (Barbara) and Thomas Wallace (Sherry); sisters, Dainett Bailey, Ethyl Johntson (Ed).

Pallbearers will be James A. Cox, Jason R. Cox, Jackie Cox, Adam Shephard, and Thomas Wallace.
