Shirley Odom Grafton, 88, of Clinton, MS, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at her residence. Born on May 27, 1937, in Marion County, Mississippi, Shirley was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Her life was a testament to love, service, and steadfast faith.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Clinton Grafton, Sr.; her father, Woodrow Wilson Odom; and her mother, Mildred Johnson Odom. She is survived by her son, Clinton Grafton, Jr. (Kaye); her daughter, Ellen Grafton Little (Don); her brother, Shevis Odom (Betty); her grandchildren, Clay Grafton, Christopher Grafton (Nicole), Tori Ferguson (Cody), Matthew Little (Taylor), Kristen Bagley (Michael), and Emileigh Little; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel, located at 4593 Indian Springs Rd, Laurel, MS. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at the same location, with burial at Indian Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Laurel, Mississippi. Larry Grafton and Chester Masterson will officiate the services.

Shirley's gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and the love she freely gave will be remembered by all who knew her. While she will be deeply missed by her family and friends, they take comfort in knowing she is at peace and reunited with loved ones in Heaven.
