Shirley Ann Jones, 79, of Taylorsville, Mississippi, died Friday, October 11, 2019 at Ashbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She was born Monday, May 27, 1940 in Taylorsville, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 14, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Fellowship Baptist Church and the Burial will follow in Fellowship Cemetery. Bro. Shirley was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and attended faithfully as long as her health allowed. She played on the church softball team.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Ray Winford Jones, son, Randy Farrell Jones, parents, James Otho and Zona Francis Craft Ashley, siblings, Mary Lee Ashley Wade, Erma Lee Ashley Jones, James Troy Ashley, Audery Olee Ashley, Mildred Mae Ashley Tuggle, Frances Lou Ashley (six months at death), Thomas Ray Ashley (stillborn), Paul Edward Ashley, Charles Dean Ashley, Tommie Ruth Ashley Benison and Betty Lou Ashley Jones.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda K. Montgomery (David), son, Mark Anthony Ray Jones (Linda), son, Jeffery William Jones (Vivian), daughter-in-law, Wendi Sparkman Jones, grandchildren, Kimberely Michele Jones Parker (Kevin), Kayla Gayle Jones, Malerie Nicole Jones, Lindsey Marie Jones, Jacob William Jones (Kacey), Justen Michael Jones, Denise Ann Montgomery and Conner Farrell Jones; great-grandsons, Bryce Camden Parker, Brenson Ryder Blackwell, Brody Garrison Parker and Jackson William Jones.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Jones, Brock Benison, Chris Jones, Josh Jones, Heath Blair, Larry Tuggle Jr. and Kevin Parker.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Jones, Justen Jones, Conner Jones, Bryce Parker, Brenson Blackwell, Brody Parker and Jackson Jones.
