Steve Michael Cole, 69, of Ellisville, MS, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at the Asbury Hospice House, Born on August 8, 1957, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

He served as a pipeline right of way specialist for over 42 years with Williams Trans Continental Gas Pipeline in Sandersville, MS. He enjoyed watching his football especially when it came to LSU and the New Orleans Saints. Steve also loved to go turkey hunting and was an avid outdoorsman. He loves to spend all his free time in the woods with his friends and family.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Dee and Ida Mary Cole; stepdaughter, Ginger Fertitta;

Steve is survived by his loving family, including his wife of 32 years Janet Cole; Sons, Seth Cole (Lauren), Kris Hancock; daughter, Lauren Reynolds (Ian); grandchildren, Tinsley Cole, Taylin Cole, Kady Fertitta, Kade Hancock, Khloe Hancock, Cash Hancock, Delta Lynn Hancock, Dani Kay Hancock and his extended family.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
