Thomas Edward Poore, 72 of Laurel, MS passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. He was born Monday, December 24, 1951, in Laurel, Mississippi.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. 601-649-3342.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Poore; mother, Florence Lightsey Poore.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Rayner Poore, daughters, Linda Drinkwine (Benji) and Hope Burton (Chris); grandchildren, Gracie Drinkwine, Eli Drinkwine, Kate Burton and Will Burton; best friend of 40 plus years, Mike Holloway and his dog, Lulu.
