Timothy L. Hartz, Sr.,61, of Laurel, MS, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025, at his residence in Laurel, MS. Born on October 5, 1963, in Mishawaka, Indiana, Timothy was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 27 years, Cheryl Williams Hartz, and his children: sons Timothy L. Hartz, Jr. (Christina) and Zachary Hartz (Halee); daughters Shannon Williams, Danelle Sliter, Cassondra Freitag (Adam), and Nicole Annis. He also leaves behind his mother, Barbara J. Seese Hartz, and his cherished grandchildren: Alyssa, Kaci, Jacob, Hannah, Daniel, Samantha, Selena, Zander, Grayson, and Leon. Timothy is also survived by his brothers, Ellsworth F. Hartz III (Patricia) and Brian Keith Hartz (Michelle), and his sister, Bobbie K. Micinski (Russell).

He was preceded in death by his father, Ellsworth F. Hartz, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel, located at 4593 Indian Springs Rd, Laurel, MS. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM at the same location, with Bro. Jason Poole officiating. Burial will take place at Lake Park Hills Cemetery in Laurel, Mississippi. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel.

Pallbearers will include Adam Freitag, Ellsworth Hartz III, Robin Jones, Rusty Jones, Ronnie Jones, and Wesley Bohde.
